THE WORK TO BE DONE
Retaining the feeling of Existence
What Mahaprabu is trying to do
Retaining the feeling of existence is the only job. One should get the experience of Existence. Only this is our aim. To make one to experience that which is existing here and now, that alone is our goal. That’s why we don’t have any goal of creating an institution, an organizational setup, a schedule, a procedure etc. Those are an entirely different setup. There you won’t find the Truth.
Mahaprabu’s work is to help whoever is truly, sincerely trying to know themselves and trying to experience that which exists. Their mental depositions (Vasanas:B) and memory depositions (Ego:D) have to be removed. Even removing D takes tremendous effort. B has much more energy. You don’t even know what is there. And when it comes out, it dominates you. You will be that. You will be anger. You will be jealous. At that point you cannot do anything. So an inner operation, an inner surgery needs to be done. The Master is the surgeon. Once those Vasanas are removed, immediately you will feel the reality that is behind. Then you will be cured. Only then you will realize that we have been occupied all this time. Now that is gone.
The one who is meditating must disappear and Dhyanam (meditation) alone should remain. This is real Dhyanam. So for Dhyanam to stay and Dhyanippavan (meditator) to go, see how much DISAPPEARANCE is needed. Only in that moment when there is disappearance, THAT is felt.
SC: So everything else, every other moment is a waste.
Mahaprabu: Definitely. So where one is physically (referring to the Resthouse which is a perfect environment of solitude for this practice) and with WHO one is (referring to Mahaprabu) matters so much. That is why Mahaprabu has created this environment and setting.
So be without the idea, the memory of you. The only way is don’t engage as far as possible in anything else, anything unnecessary. As soon as you engage yourself, ‘you’ come first. Finished. The records are getting stronger.
